I attended the House of Harlow 1960 Pop-up Event on Wednesday, and I must say I was quite intrigued by the brand. If you are not keen to this brand it is created and owned by Nicole Richie. Her inspiration for the brand is her love of '60s and '70s era fashion. It started out as a jewelry line about 7 years ago, but she has now transitioned it into a full life style brand with home decor, clothing, and accessories.
The fashion itself is very bohemian chic for the most part. The mix of flowy and soft fabrics are definitely reminiscent if the '60s free love era. The jewelry is rustic and authentic. There are a variety of choices among great quality pieces. The Home decor included candles which come in a cute black box and smell delightful as most candles do. The prices range from$24 -$395 which I thought was surprising affordable.
All in all I do like the line and you can expect to see me rock House of Harlow 1960 in future. If you are in Los Angeles be sure to check the shop out. It runs until July 16th at The Grove with different special events. Did any of my fellow fashionistas or nistos attend the event? If so, what did you think about the brand? Below you can find some of my favorite pieces from the line!
