Spring is a time for blooming flowers and rain showers.
Ha-Ha that rhymed, but really for most of the world spring is a time where people are excited for changing climates and beautiful blooming scenery. While living in Oklahoma I use to yearn for spring weather, especially as a kid. I would always wait for groundhogs day to see just how long the winter blast would last. Now that I live in Los Angeles, I kind of feel like I'm cheating, because since I've been here it always feels like spring! Got to love that Southern California weather! Don't worry though, I still feel for my farther out counterparts who are still waiting for spring to ring in! So, here is my list of ten things I love for spring.
Hiking has become part of my daily routine on most days. I love the fact that I get a good workout, beautiful views, and refreshing air. It brings a peace and clarity to my day.
The color Sky blue
I am current really into sky blue or powder blue as some might call it. I don't have hardly any items in my closet this color, but I spotted this dress from Forever21 that I love, and wore on my birthday. I also found this Bra and panty set from The Gap Body that was eye catching. I usually go for yellows in the spring, but this year sky blue is in.
White nail polish
I started wearing white nail polish years ago before it became a huge trend, and recently, I have revived the color as a constant.
I have been a fan of fringes forever because it gives clothing fun frills, and this season I believe it's a must. I recently acquired a fringe purse I'm obsessed with and a couple of bohemian style dresses and shawls you shall see me rocking.

This has become an excessive obsession that I can't seem to stop from brewing. No matter, how many yoga pants and sports bras I have, I keep getting more. The different array of colors and styles are so cute and comfy. Plus, I believe if you look good working out you feel good.
Reading is fundamental. I recently reignited my love for books. The pleasure of getting lost in a good book is so familiar to me, and reminds me of my childhood and teenage years. It also has me learning some new potent life knowledge.
Flowers and plants
This started while grocery shopping at Trader Joes and Whole foods. They have all those fresh plants and flowers sitting outside as you walk in the doors and I just can't resist anymore.
It's more so vegan desserts, because I have tried to go completely vegan before and it wasn't my thing, but I'm still researching and learning more about the lifestyle to incorporate one day a week of vegan meals for myself and the family. p.s "It's Hard"
I love my hats; I have workout hats, just coolin hats, and sun hats that I'm totally obsessed with at the moment.
Enjoying the moments
This may be cliché, but I have been slowing down to smell the roses lately. I think we all get so busy and caught up in our day-to-day routines that we forget to enjoy the moments. For that reason I am making a conscious effort to slow down and just enjoy the timeless moments in my day.
